In order to welcome more and more visitors to Myanmar, the nation’s Government issued the Myanmar visa exemption. Travelers from countries in the visa exemption list are allowed to enter Myanmar without a visa within a certain period of time. IMPORTANT NOTE: In case you would like to stay in Myanmar longer the the free visa time, you DO NEED APPLY FOR Myanmar VISA. For expample, if you are citizen from the countries in Myanmar visa exemption list, you can stay in Myanmar without a visa in 14 days, but if you want to stay in Myanmar for 20 days, you have to apply for Myanmar visa before traveling.

If the Myanmar visa applicants are Singaporean citizens, effective December 1st 2016, all Singapore ordinary passport holders may travel to Myanmar without a visa for up to 30 days, when entering and exiting from Yangon, Mandalay or Nay Pyi Taw International Airports. For Land Border Checkpoints, or for stays lasting longer than 30 days, an appropriate visa is still required.
If you are in the Myanmar visa exemption list, for example, Vietnam passport holder, surely you can enter and stay in Myanmar for 14 days without a Myanmar visa. However, for a stay over 14 days, say, 40 days, you are required to apply for a visa for Myanmar.
